Round 2 Ins & Outs

With Hawthorn’s Round six squad not submitted until Saturday night, Box Hill’s Round two team exists as an extended 31-man outfit.

There are nine possible additions to the side which went down in round one, headlined by the potential returns of James Cousins and Conor Nash.

Sam Mitchell might also call upon four debutants for the brown and gold at VFL level: draftees Harry Pepper, Tyler Brockman, Jack Saunders and Box Hill recruit Hugh Beasley have all been named for their first games at City Oval.

Box Hill-listed youngsters are also in the frame for selection, with Brayden Kilpatrick, Mackenzie Doreian and Lachie Walker in the mix for their first runs of 2021.

Sadly, Jordan Cunico and Jon Ceglar won’t feature this weekend, having been omitted due to injuries sustained in the loss to Casey.

Our final 22 will be confirmed and published at 1:30pm Saturday.

In:
Nash, Cousins, Pepper (NEW), Brockman (NEW), Saunders (NEW), H. Beasley (NEW), Doreian, Kilpatrick, Walker
Out:
Cunico (inj – hamstring), Ceglar (inj – ankle)
