At A Glance

The Hawks last met the Demons in Round 10 last season and recorded a convincing 39-point win.

Box Hill co-vice-captain Jordan Mifsud was among the best players on the day and will be hoping to repeat her efforts and extend her stellar 2023 form on Sunday.

Like the Hawks, the Demons are also suffering from a bit of a form slump, sitting ninth on the VFLW ladder – two places behind Box Hill.

The Who

Speedy forward Hannah Fosbrooke will make her debut for Box Hill on Sunday.

Fosbrooke has previous VFLW experience with Williamstown and Port Melbourne but will be aiming to begin her Box Hill career with a bang.

The Demons will welcome two debutants of their own with Melbourne AFLW recruit Georgie Fowler and Oakleigh Charger Jemma Rigoni both named to travel to Wonthaggi.

Ones to Watch

Nadia von Bertouch has been the unsung hero for Box Hill this season.

The reliable defender is averaging 10 disposals, four marks and two tackles.

She was sorely missed last week as the Hawks slumped to a 26-point loss against Port Melbourne.

Marla Neal is one to watch for the Demons.

Having come across from Collingwood, Neal is thriving in her new colours, averaging 13.6 disposals and seven tackles.
