Community Clubs August 13

Despite some of our Hawks getting a well-earned rest in during BYE week, some of our VFL boys played hard  down at their local clubs. Great to see so many wins across the board this week, with some even smashing.

We also congratulate a few of our VFLW stars, in Chloe Bailey, Alisha Molesworth and Elise Molesworth, along with their Warragul Industrials team who took home the title of Division One Premiers in the Mornington Peninsula Football Netball League. Alisha receiving a mention in the best players list.

In Round 15 of the Victorian Amateur Football League, Jed Rule and Old Carey beat Glen Eira / Old McKinnon by 81 points, 17.21 (123) to 6.6 (42). Jed kicked 4 goals and received a mention in the best player list.

In Round 16 of the Ovens & Murray Football Netball League, Toby Cossor and the Myrtleford Seniors defeated Wodonga Raiders by 55 points, 12.11 (83) to 4.4 (28). Toby kicked 1 goal and received a mention in the best player list.

In Round 16 of the Eastern Football Netball League, Billy Hicks and the Blackburn Seniors were beaten by 19 points to Nobel Park, 6.13 (49) to 10.8 (68).

Josh Tovey and the Norwood Seniors had a 74 point loss over East Ringwood, 5.9 (39) to 17.11 (113). Joshwas first named in the best player list.

Mitchell Sruk and the Rowville Seniors smashed Doncaster East by 130 points, 27.10 (172) to 5.12 (42).

Lachie Guymer, Remy Maclean and the East Ringwood Reserves had an incredible 193 point victory over Norwood, 30.14 (194) to 0.1 (1). Lachie kicked 1 goal and Remy kicked 2 goals.

Ollie Horlock and the Vermont Reserves beat Berwick by a massive 167 points, 27.12 (174) to 1.1 (7). Olliereceived a mention in the best player list.

In Round 16 of the Northern Football Netball League, Kye Agosta and the Hurstbridge Seniors had a 16 point win over Greensborough, 11.18 (84) to 10.8 (68).

Ben De Bolfo and the Heidelberg Seniors destroyed West Preston-Lakeside by 141 points, 26.15 (171) to 4.6 (30). Ben kicked 2 goals.

In Round 17 of the Mornington Peninsula Football Netball League, Heath Bidgood and Frankston YWC defeated Langwarrin by 21 points, 12.10 (82) to 9.7 (61).
