VFLW Round 12 Team: Hawks Set to Tackle Essendon
The Box Hill Hawks VFLW side will aim to strengthen their hold on a top-two spot this Saturday when they face Essendon at Box Hill City Oval.
The Hawks will face a Bombers side eager to bounce back after a narrow 8-point loss to Darebin at home last weekend. With finals aspirations on the line, this match holds significant importance for both teams — Essendon pushing to break into the top six, while Box Hill sets its sights on claiming top spot on the ladder. The first bounce is set for 11:35 AM this Saturday at Box Hill City Oval, as we proudly wear our Indigenous jumpers in a significant celebration of NAIDOC Week.
