ROUND 9 TEAM: Brolic to Make Debut
This week Anthony Brolic will make his debut in our Round 9 clash against the North Ballarat Roosters at Box Hill City Oval on Sunday.
Brolic’s inclusion in our senior side this week marks our 12th debutant for the 2016 season. Brolic came to City Oval from the Eastern Ranges U18’s last season, and having shown some great form in the development side for a number of weeks, has earned a well deserved senior call up.
This week the match committee have been busy with nine changes to be made to our squad for Sunday’s game. We welcome in Joe Fisher, Nick Evans, Jordan Walker, Liam Kidd, Kaiden Brand, Anthony Brolic, Lachlan Langford, Julian Soccio and Zac Webster.
Unfortunately we lose Kade Stewart and Daniel Howe to senior selection at Hawthorn on Saturday, and Matt Spangher and Ryan Schoenmakers to injury. Billy Murphy has been omitted.
This week we are also hosting the Whitehorse Colts in their match against Redan in the WVFL game from 11.30am as a curtain raiser to the senior game.
This weekend’s clash takes place at 2.00pm at Box Hill City Oval, so make sure to come on down to cheer on the team.
