With the 2023 Smithy’s VFL and rebel VFLW fixtures released, the countdown is officially on until Box Hill’s bumper season.
Here’s what to look forward to:
Box Hill VFL fixture highlights
- Home matches in Rounds 4, 5, 6, 9, 11, 12, 15, 19 and 21
- MCG curtain raiser on Monday 10 April against Geelong
- VFL/VFLW double-header with Casey on Sunday 30 April in Wonthaggi
- Three interstate trips: Sydney in Round 1, Gold Coast Suns in Round 14, GWS Giants in Round 16
- A first match against Williamstown since Round 9, 2019 in Round 11
- The Hawks play 18 of a possible 20 opponents – Carlton and Werribee the odd teams out
Box Hill VFLW fixture highlights
- Home matches in Rounds 2, 4, 6, 8, 9, 11 and 14
- Season commences with a clash against Essendon at the NEC Hangar
- Box Hill plays under Friday night lights against Port Melbourne at ETU Stadium in Round 5
- Three double-headers at Box Hill City Oval in Rounds 4, 9 and 11
- A fourth double-header at Wonthaggi Recreation Reserve in Round 6
- A trip to Geelong to face the Cats in Round 12

- Round 4 v Collingwood: Sunday 16 April at Box Hill City Oval. VFL – 12pm, VFLW – 3.30pm AEST
- Round 6 v Casey: Sunday 30 April at Wonthaggi Recreation Reserve. VFLW – 11.20am, VFL – 2.05pm AEST
- Round 9: Saturday 20 May at Box Hill City Oval. VFL v Southport at 12.05pm, VFLW v Carlton at 3.15pm AEST
