Community Clubs August 20

As the excitement of finals near with only a couple rounds left, the Hawks boys are getting ready for some big games. For some players, these next few games will be the last they play for the season whilst for others it’s the start of their finals journey. This week had some hard losses for our boys but the season isn’t over yet. Let’s hope for some big wins next week.

In Round 17 of the Eastern Football Netball League, the Blackburn Seniors with Billy Hicks defeated Doncaster East by 45 points, 16.12 (108) to 9.9 (63).

The Rowville Seniors with Mitch Sruk lost by 32 points to East Ringwood Seniors, 7.14 (56) to 12.16 (88).

The Vermont Seniors with Noah Bourke beat Norwood with Josh Tovey by 58 points, 16.15 (111) to 8.5 (53). Noah kicked 3 goals!

The East Ringwood Reserves with Lachie Guymer and Remy Maclean won by 35 points against Rowville Reserves, 10.7 (67) to 5.2 (32). Remy and Lachie both kicked 1 goal each, with Lachie also receiving a mention in the best player list.

The Mooroolbark Seniors with Jye Peacock took home a 23 point win against Doncaster Seniors in Round 18, 14.14 (98) to 11.9 (75). Jye kicked 2 goals!

The Ringwood Seniors with Jett Latchford were defeated by 105 points against Boronia Seniors in Round 18, 3.7 (25) to 19.16 (130).

In Round 17 of the Northern Football Netball League, Heidelberg with Ben De Bolfo smashed Eltham by 75 points, 21.16 (142) to 10.7 (67).

The Hurstbridge Seniors with Kye Agosta beat North Heidelberg by 46 points, 14.13 (97) to 7.9 (51).

In Round 17 of the Ovens & Murray Football Netball League, the Myrtleford Seniors with Toby Cossor were unable to get the win after being defeated by 39 points, 5.11 (41) to 12.8 (80).

In Round 17 of the Gippsland Football Netball League, Maffra with Zachary Felsbourg lost by 64 points against Traralgon, 6.8 (44) to 16.12 (108).

Warragul with Lane Ward were defeated by 31 points against Moe, 7.8
(50) to 11.15 (81).

Drouin with Seb Amoroso were smashed by 85 points against Wonthaggi, 5.7 (37 to 19.8 (122).

In Round 18 of the Mornington Peninsula Football Netball League, the Frankston YWC Seniors with Heath Bidgood lost by 6 points against Rosebud FNC Seniors, 5.8 (38) to 6.8 (44).
