Community Club 25 June

After coming away from a BYE weekend for our Box Hill boys and a DRAW with our Box Hill VFLW side, it’s great to see so many successful results amongst our players local clubs. Since last weeks results, this week has had a much more positive outcome for our players, with many more getting around some goals and featuring in the best player list. 

VFL – In Round 10 of the Eastern Football Netball League, Noah Bourke and the Vermont Seniors defeated Billy Hicks, Nathan Philactides and the Blackburn Seniors by 20 points, 13.9 (87) to 9.13 (67). Noah, Billy and Nathan all kicked 1 goal!

Jye Peacock and the Mooroolbark Seniors lost by 18 points against Mitcham Seniors on the weekend during Round 11, 13.7 (85) to 15.13 (103). Jye received a mention in the best player list.

Jett Latchford and the Ringwood Seniors defeated East Burwood Seniors by 1 point, 6.8 (44) to 5.13 (43).

In Round 11 of the Mornington Peninsula Football Netball League, Heath Bidgood and the Frankston YWC Seniors had a great win over the Sorrento Seniors, defeating them by 116 points, 21.11 (137) to 3.3 (21).

Seth Harris and the Frankston Bombers were unfortunately defeated by 12 points against the Red Hill Seniors, 11.7 (73) to 13.7 (85). Seth kicked 1 goal and received a mention in the best player list.

In Round 10 of the Northern Football Netball League, Kye Agosta and the Hurstbridge Seniors had a huge 48 point win over Eltham, 17.21 (123) to 11.9 (75). Kye had a massive game kicking 4 goals and receiving a mention in the best player list.

In Round 10 of the Victorian Amateur Football Association, Andreas Stefanakis and the Old Haileybury Seniors emerged victorious over the Beaumaris Seniors, defeating them by 20 points, 8.14 (62) to 6.6 (42). Andreas kicked 1 goal.

In Round 11 of the Gippsland League, Zach Felsbourg and the Maffra Seniors faced a close loss against Drouin, losing by 6 points, 15.8 (98) to 16.8 (104).

VFLW – In Round 10 of the Victorian Amateur Football Association, Taylah Canobie and the St Kevins Seniors defeated Kew Seniors by 45 points, 9.6 (60) to 2.3 (15).

Jade Wise, Bella Gray and the Old Scotch Seniors had a 31 point win over the West Brunswick Seniors, 7.8 (50) to 3.1 (19). Jade kicked 2 goals, and both Jade and Bella received a mention in the best player list.

Amber Sciacca and the Old Yarra Cobras lost by 14 points against the Monash Blues Seniors, 1.2 (8) to 3.4 (22).

In Round 9 of the Eastern Football Netball League, Teagen Bradley and the Donvale Seniors had a 58 point win against the Knox Seniors, 9.9 (60) to 0.5 (5). Teagan kicked 2 goals and received a mention in the best player list.

In Round 11 of the Coates Talent League, Georgia Templeton and the Dandenong Stingrays had a 57 point victory over the Bendigo Pioneers, 10.15 (75) to 2.6 (18). Georgia kicked 2 goals.

In Round 11 of the Mornington Peninsula Football Netball League, Alisha Molesworth, Chloe Bailey, Elise Molesworth and the Warragul Industrials had a 38 point win against Pearcedale, 10.9 (69) to 5.1 (31). Alisha kicked 2 goals, whilst both Alisha and Elise players received a mention in the best player list.

In Round 10 of the Outer East Football Netball League, Paula Pavic and the Healesville Seniors defeated Lily Carlin and the Olinda Ferny Creek Seniors by 44 points, 8.10 (58) to 2.2 (14). Lily received a mention in the best player list, and Paula kicked 1 goal.

Sky Wilson and the Woori Yallock Seniors won by 4 points against Monbulk Seniors, 5.3 (33) to 4.5 (29). Sky received a mention in the best player list.
