Game Day Guide: Double Header at City Oval
Get ready, Hawks fans! Saturday marks a special one as we return to Box Hill City Oval for the first time this season, with a massive double-header and a chance to celebrate Indigenous Round.
This weekend is an opportunity to recognise and celebrate Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, cultures and contributions to our game and communities, making an already huge day at the footy even more meaningful.
VFL: Box Hill Hawks vs Richmond Football Club
Bounce: 10:00 AM
The day kicks off with our VFL side taking on Richmond as we return to home turf for the first time this season. The boys will be ready to make the most of the home crowd and start the day strong.
VFLW: Box Hill Hawks vs Collingwood Football Club
Bounce: 4:05 PM
Then our VFLW side takes the field in the afternoon against Collingwood to round out a full day of football at City Oval. Two big games, one home ground, and plenty to cheer for.

With redevelopment works still underway, access will look a little different to previous home games.
All patrons must enter via the main gate, located on the corner of Middleborough Road and Whitehorse Road, opposite the intersection.

FREE entry after three-quarter time of the VFL game
🚙 PARKING
With a big crowd expected for our first game back at City Oval, street parking nearby will be limited, so please plan ahead and allow extra time.

- Canteen open all day
- Bar open throughout the day
- Merchandise van on site
- Portable bathroom facilities available
Patrons are also welcome to bring their own food and drinks.
☕️ FOOD & DRINK
- Inglewood Coffee Roasters will be there serving coffee all day.
- Breheny Brothers Brewery Brew Bar will be open all day, with a pop-up bar outside during the VFLW match.

Saturday is our first match back at City Oval while redevelopment continues. Some facilities remain temporary, but we’re excited to welcome everyone back to our home ground and appreciate your patience as work progresses.
