1984 Box Hill Football Club Premiership Team Reunion

The Box Hill Hawks Football Club will be celebrating the 30th Anniversary of the Club’s first V.F.A. Premiership with players and officials of the team to be the “guests of honour” at this Sunday’s President’s Luncheon to be held before the V.F.L. game between the Box Hill Hawks and Coburg Lions.

On Sunday 16th September 1984; Box Hill defeated Oakleigh in the V.F.A. Second Division Grand Final before a crowd of 10,736 at Toorak Park, Prahran.  Box Hill’s score of 32.23(215) and the winning margin of 135 points remain all time records for any Australian State League Grand Final.

Limited places for the President’s Luncheon are still available and any Box Hill Hawks supporter who would like to be part of what is sure to be a memorable day would be most welcome.
