Walker signs for 2020
Box Hill has strengthened its leadership stocks with the re-signing of Lachlan Walker.
Walker has signed on for his fourth year in the brown and gold, following a break-out year in 2019.
After dealing with various injuries in his first two seasons at City Oval, the 22-year-old was afforded a better run at it this year, playing 10 senior games.
GM – VFL and VFLW Football Daniel Napoli said the midfielder had proved himself an integral part of the club’s midfield ranks this year.
“Lachie is the prototypical, modern-day midfielder, standing at 190cm tall,” Napoli said.
“He developed really well this season alongside Andrew Moore and the rest of our on-ball brigade.
“We have some high aspirations for where he can take his game to next year.”
