VFLW R3 TEAM: Four debutants to face Saints
Box Hill will blood four debutants on Sunday as it faces the Southern Saints at RSEA Park from 3pm.
Bridie Hipwell, Cassie Davidson, Drew Ryan and Matilda Van Berkel will all pull on the brown and gold for the first time, while Monique Trusler makes her Hawks return after previously suiting up in 2017.
Hipwell is one of seven AFLW players in the side, with Emily Everist joining her as one of the six changes to Cherie O’Neill’s team.
Some experience comes out of the squad though, with Nicole Garner, Jess Trend, Catherine Brown, Zoe Barbakos, Bella Gray and Macie Gilmour not featuring at Moorabbin.
