Team Set For Blues Clash
The Box Hill Hawks will open our 2025 campaign away under the friday night lights this weekend, butting heads with Carlton for the first time since Round 2, 2022 for the first premiership points of the new season.
With as many as 14 brand new VFL-listed players to choose from, as well as a slew of fresh faces from the Hawthorn AFL program, it’ll be a new-look Box Hill Hawks which takes to IKON Park tomorrow night at 7:10pm.
Named in the squad for their Club debuts are off-season acquisitions Corey Preston, Kye Declase, Trent Bianco and Jack Sammartino. They’ll line up alongside Hawthorn recruits Matt Hill and Noah Mraz.
The returning Ethan Stanley will play his first game in the Brown and Gold since being picked up by the Dockers in the 2023 Mid-Season Draft.
Our final team will be confirmed and communicated prior to Friday’s first bounce.
