TEAMS: VFLW Round 3
Following last week’s competition wide bye, our Women return to action in a home match against the formidable St.Kilda Sharks.
The match kicks off at 11AM Saturday morning and coach Patrick Hill is looking forward to welcoming the Sharks to Box Hill City Oval.
“St. Kilda are a very physical team and to beat them we’ll need to be at our best, we’re relishing the challenge they present.” Hill said.
Hill noted the improvements in recent weeks and earmarked a facet of the ladies’ game that was worked on during the week off.
“Recently we’ve been happy with two phases of our game, with special attention during the week on a third.”
Cheekily Hill wouldn’t elaborate on just what that third phase was, though he remarked it has been a strong focus since the side last played a fortnight ago.
