Selection: Hawks Ready to Fight for a Grand Final Spot
Box Hill’s 2026 VFL finals campaign continues this Saturday, with the Hawks set to take on Essendon in a Preliminary Final at Box Hill City Oval.
After earning their place in the final four, the brown and gold now stand just one win away from a Grand Final, with everything on the line in a blockbuster Preliminary Final clash.
The Hawks will be looking to bring the pressure, intensity and composure that have defined their season, knowing a strong four-quarter performance will be required against Essendon with a place in the 2026 VFL Grand Final up for grabs.
With the stakes at their highest, every contest and every possession will matter as Box Hill looks to continue its finals journey and earn the opportunity to play for the premiership.
The stage is set for a huge morning of finals football, with the Hawks ready to embrace the challenge and leave everything on the field in pursuit of a Grand Final berth.
Getting There
🚗 Driving: Box Hill City Oval is easily accessible by car, with limited parking available around the venue. Arriving early is recommended to secure a spot.
🚆 PTV: Catch a train to Box Hill Station via the Belgrave or Lilydale lines. From there, Box Hill City Oval is just a short walk away.
Street parking nearby will be limited, so please plan ahead and allow extra time.

Tickets / Entry
Gates open at 10:00 am ahead of the 11:05 am first bounce.
There will be three entry points available around Box Hill City Oval:
- Gate 1 – near the Southern Pavilion
- Gate 2 – along the southern side of the ground, near Middleborough Road
- Gate 3 – northern end of the ground, accessible from Middleborough Road
