Round 21 Game Day Info

Saturday’s match-up between the Hawks and Dogs brings together two of the VFL’s most in-form outfits, with the hosts unbeaten in five outings and the visiting Footscray in the middle of an eight-match winning streak.

The two senior sides are set to do battle in Tasmania on Sunday afternoon, so there’s no better way for fans of the Hawks and Dogs to get their footy fix than a trip to Box Hill City Oval!

Where: Box Hill City Oval
When: Saturday – 2:05pm
Who: Footscray
How To Watch: VFL coverage available via this link
Additional Coverage: game day coverage and behind the scenes access provided, as always, across our official social channels.

Pride Match

The Box Hill Hawks will wear our first-ever Pride Guernsey on Saturday, having seen our VFLW outfit debut the strip earlier in the season. The Guernsey promotes inclusivity and diversity – two important tenants for not just sporting clubs, but society as a whole.

Both Hawks Pride and Bulldogs Pride supporter groups will have a stall inside the venue, too, so be sure to pop by and say hello.

Entry, Ticketing and Membership

Gates to City Oval will open at 12:30pm, with ticket prices frozen from 2022.

Adult entry is priced at $10, concessions $5 and kids under five are free.

Although late in the season, buying a membership remains the best way to support the club. You can secure yours at the game or via this link.

Members receive admission to every Box Hill Hawks home match, half-price admission to away games, 10% off Box Hill and Hawthorn merchandise purchased through our official club stores and access to Hawthorn’s suite of third party member benefits.

Volunteers Needed

As always, we’re accepting expressions of interest for a number of volunteer match day positions – including merchandise, membership and raffle sales.

If you’d like to get a start in sport, gain some valuable experience and exposure or just want to join the Box Hill Hawks family, we’d love to hear from you!

No previous experience is necessary.

If you’d like to know more about these opportunities please get in touch with Emily Ferguson via emilyf@boxhillhawks.com.au

Food and Drink

While patrons are permitted to bring their own food and drink, footy favourites, snacks and beverages are available from the canteen inside the venue, while the pavilion bar will be open once gates are.
