Round 17 Game Day Info

There’s plenty to celebrate and enjoy on and off the field this Saturday at Box Hill City Oval!

Keen to snap a three game losing streak and re-establish a place in the competition’s top eight, the ninth-placed Hawks welcome the sixth-placed Werribee.

The game marks the launch of Box Hill’s Hall of Fame, with the first class of 21 inductees to be announced at a special luncheon on the day; while on the field the Hawks and Tigers will contest the annual Beyond Blue Cup.

More, the two sides will don blue arm bands to recognise TAC Road Safety Round.

Otherwise tickets can be purchased at the main gate on Whitehorse Road, with adult admission $10, concessions $5 and kids under 15 free.

Memberships are still available and can be purchased at the front gate. Available for just $50, a membership entitles you to free entry for all home matches at City Oval, as well as half-price entry at away grounds.

Special Events

The Club’s first class of Hall of Famers will be honoured pre-match, while Box Hill and Werribee will square off for the Beyond Blue Cup – contested annually to raise awareness of mental health initiatives.

Lastly, but certainly not least, Round 17 in the VFL is TAC Road Safety Round. Over the coming weekend clubs across Victoria will wear blue armbands to recognise all the lives lost on our roads, while encouraging drivers of all ages to drive safely.

Food and Drink

While patrons are permitted to bring their own food and drink into City Oval, footy favourites, snacks and beverages are available from both the canteen and bar.

Pet Friendly

Getting to the footy can be hard when you’ve got a four-legged friend to look after, but Box Hill City Oval is a pet friendly venue!
