Community Clubs May 21

A BYE weekend calls for lots of Community Club footy! It’s always a great weekend to see our Hawks players taking the field in the local team colours and putting their trainings and game work on display for their clubs. Another week of great performance outcomes for our Hawks, including many listed in the best players and many goals kicked.

VFL: In Round 6 of the Eastern Football Netball League, Billy Hicks and Nathan Philactides and the Blackburn Seniors were unfortunately defeated by 23 points against the Rowville Seniors on Saturday, 10.12 (72) to 15.5 (95).

Josh Tovey and the Norwood Seniors had a close win on the weekend against the Noble Park Seniors, defeating them by 2 points, 11.8 (74) to 10.12 (72)! Josh scored 2 goals and received 3rd in the best players list.

Lachy Guymer and the East Ringwood Seniors had a massive blowout against the Berwick Seniors, defeating them by 68 points, 17.11 (113) to 6.9 (45). Lachy snagged 2 goals for Berwick!

Jye Peacock and the Mooroolbark Seniors had a great win against the Montrose Seniors on Saturday, defeating them by 20 points during Round 7, 8.10 (58) to 5.8 (38). Jye received 2nd in the best players list.

Jett Latchford and the Ringwood Seniors won by 57 points against the Basin Seniors, 13.18 (96) to 6.3 (39).

In Round 6 of the Victorian Amateur Football Association, Andreas Stefanakis and the Old Haileybury Seniors had a smashing game against the Caulfield Grammarians, 15.14 (104) to 6.12 (48). In their 56 point victory, Dre kicked a massive 6 goals for Old Haileybury and received a well-deserved mention in the best players list. Incredible performance.

Andrew Mathieson and the St Kevin’s Seniors defeated Fitzroy Seniors on Saturday by 12 points, 10.10 (70) to 9.4 (58). Andrew had a ripper game as he secured a goal and received 2nd in the best players list on the day.

In Round 6 of the Northern Football Netball League, Ben De Bolfo and the Heidelberg Seniors emerged winners against Greensborough, beating them by 30 points, 13.12 (90) to 8.12 (60). Ben had a great game, receiving 3rd named in the best players list and a goal under his belt.

Kye Agosta and the Hustbridge Seniors had an incredibly victory over the weekend, with Kye kicking 2 goals and defeating Macleod by 106 points, 21.16 (142) to 5.6 (36).

 In Round 7 of the Ovens & Murray Football Netball League, Toby Cossor and the Myrtleford Seniors won by 40 points against the Wodonga Raiders, 11.12 (78) to 5.8 (38). Toby secured a goal and received 3rd in the best players list on the day.

In Round 7 of the Morning Peninsula Football Netball League, Heath Bidgood and the Frankston YWC were unable to walk away with a win as they were defeated by 61 points against the Dromana FNC Seniors, 7.12 (54) to 17.13 (115).

In Round 8 of the Coates Talent League, Iliro Smit and Remy Maclean were defeated by 42 points against the Tassie Devils on Sunday, 8.4 (52) to 14.10 (94). Iliro kicked a goal and received 4th position in the best player list.

VFLW: In Round 6 of the Victorian Amateur Football Association (VAFA), Taylah Canobie and the St Kevins Seniors secured a win against the Monash Blues Seniors, 7.7 (49) to 3.3 (21).

Amber Sciacca, Erin Woodford, and the Old Yarra Cobras slimming defeated the Caulfield Grammarians by 1 point on Saturday, 4.6 (30) to 4.5 (29).

Jade Wise, Bella Gray, and the Old Scotch Seniors were victorious after defeating MUWFC Seniors by 21 points, 7.5 (47) to 4.2 (26). Both Jade and Bella received best player votes on the day.

Tayissa Gray and the Collegians Seniors had a close win against the West Brunswick Seniors, defeating them by 8 points, 5.5 (35) to 4.3 (27). Tayissa received 5th on the list of best players on the day.

In Round 7 of the Mornington Peninsula Football League, Alisha Molesworth, Elise Molesworth, and the Warragul Industrials had a close victory against Mornington, defeating them by 3 points, 7.5 (47) to 6.8 (44). Alisha received 4th on the list of best players.

In Round 6 of the Eastern Football Netball League, Jess Matin and the Beaconsfield Seniors were defeated by Donvale, 1.2 (8) to 7.10 (52). Jess kicked a goal!

In Round 5, Beth Griffin and the South Croydon Seniors, defeated the Vermont Seniors by 26 points, 8.6 (54) to 4.4 (28). – Prem Div

In Round 6 of the Outer East Football Netball League, Sky Wilson and the Woori Yallock Seniors had a great win against the Seville Seniors, defeating them 5.3 (33) to 1.1 (7). Sky received 1st on the best player list.

In Round 6 of the Essendon District Football League, Grace Matser and the Greenvale Seniors defeated the Burnside Heights by 17 points, 4.10 (34) to 1.11 (17). Grace received 2nd listed for the best players on the day.
