Sad but exciting time of year with community footy! As it nears its end, some of our boys are finishing their seasons playing their last few rounds whereas some are getting ready to tackle finals over the coming weeks. Keep an eye out to see how they go!
In Round 16 of the Victorian Amateur Football League, the St Kevins Seniors with Andrew Mathieson lost by 7 points to University Black Seniors, 9.12 (66) to 11.7 (73).
The Old Carey Seniors with Jed Rule won by 44 points over Parkdale Vultures Seniors in Round 17, 16.9 (105) to 8.13 (61). Jed kicked 1 goal!
In Round 18 of the Northern Football Netball League, the Heidelberg Seniors with Ben De Bolfo beat Hurstbridge with Kye Agosta by 35 points, 13.10 (88) to 7.11 (53). Kye kicked 1 goal!
In Round 18 of the Ovens & Murray Football Netball League, the Myrtleford Seniors with Toby Cossordefeated Albury Seniors by 14 points, 18.8 (116) to 16.6 (102). Toby received a mention in the best players list.
In Round 18 of the Eastern Football Netball League, the Blackburn Seniors with Billy Hicks and Nathan Philactides defeated Balwyn Seniors by 19 points, 14.10 (94) to 11.9 (75).
The Vermont Seniors with Noah Bourke lost by 36 points to the East Ringwood Seniors, 11.14 (80) to 18.8 (116).
The Norwood Seniors with Josh Tovey were defeated by Berwick Seniors by 24 points, 10.4 (64) to 12.16 (88). Josh kicked 1 goal!
The East Ringwood Reserves with Lachie Guymer beat Vermont Reserves with Ollie Horlock by 9 points, 9.9 (63) to 8.6 (54). Lachie kicked 1 goal and received a mention in the best players list.
In Round 19 of Coates Talent League, the Eastern Ranges won by 23 points over Northern Knights, 5.12 (102) to 12.7 (79). Remy kicked 4 goals and received a mention in the best players list.
In the First Round of Finals, the Frankston YWC Seniors with Heath Bidgood and Lachy Bryce defeated Mt. Eliza FNC Seniors by 14 points, 8.12 (60) to 6.10 (46).
