VFLW Selection: Magpies Up Next for VFLW Hawks
The Box Hill Hawks VFLW side will be looking for a strong response this weekend when they take on Collingwood in their second meeting of the 2026 season.
The two sides first met in Round 1 at Box Hill City Oval, where Collingwood claimed a 27-point victory, 9.10 (64) to 5.7 (37). The Magpies made a fast start with seven first-half goals to open up a commanding lead before the Hawks fought back after the main break, winning the final quarter and showing plenty of resilience despite the result.
With another opportunity against the Magpies this weekend, the Hawks will be eager to build on the positives from their previous encounter and produce a four-quarter performance in front of the home crowd.
Getting There
đ Driving: Box Hill City Oval is easily accessible by car, with parking available around the venue and surrounding streets.
đ PTV: Catch a train to Box Hill Station via the Belgrave or Lilydale lines, then enjoy a short walk to Box Hill City Oval.
Arriving early is recommended due to limited parking availability around the ground.

All patrons must enter via the main gate, located on the corner of Middleborough Road and Whitehorse Road, opposite the intersection.
