VFLW Round 9 Team: Co Vice-Captain makes return to face Falcons
Box Hill is geared up to face Darebin at home for our Sir Doug Nicholls Round clash this Sunday.
The side has made seven changes to the team that defeated the Saints in last week’s triumphant effort in Wonthaggi.
The Hawks’ line-up is set to debut three fresh faces in the midst of an exciting squad. VFLW listed players Olivia Barber, Mikayla Lee and Emma Robins will all pull on the brown and gold for the first time against the Falcons.
Another exciting addition is VFLW co vice-captain, Nadia von Bertouch, we’ll see the skilled defender play her first match of the season come Sunday.
Box Hill will take to the field with four AFLW players, who were all part of last weekend’s victory. Louise Stephenson, Bridget Deed, Jess Vukic and Sophie Butterworth are all back to face Darebin.
VFLW talent in Jess Cox, Tess Cattle and Annie Muir are also set to make their return this week.
