VFLW coaches votes, R5: Three Hawks among the votes

Despite going down to Port Melbourne by 26 points on Friday night, three Hawks have polled votes in the VFLW Coaches MVP award.

Experienced defender Jess Trend led the way with four votes, thanks to her goal, 15 disposals and four marks.

Jordan Mifsud was rated next best by the coaches with three votes after tallying 22 disposals, taking five marks and laying three tackles.

The Hawks co-vice-captain is now placed sixth on the overall leaderboard, tallying a total of 18 votes for the season so far. 

Hawthorn AFLW midfielder Tamara Smith rounded out the tally at ETU Stadium, receiving one vote for her 14 disposals and five tackles in the forward line.
