Selection: Hawks Ready for Qualifying Final Clash with Werribee

Box Hill’s 2026 finals campaign gets underway this Saturday afternoon, with the Hawks travelling to Melbourne Avalon Airport Oval to take on Werribee in a blockbuster Qualifying Final.

After a strong home-and-away campaign, the brown and gold now turn their attention to September football, with a place in the Semi Finals on the line against a Werribee side that has proven to be one of the competition’s toughest opponents.

With the intensity set to rise for finals, the Hawks will be looking to bring their trademark pressure around the contest, disciplined defensive structure and efficient ball movement as they aim to start their finals campaign on a winning note.

Saturday’s Qualifying Final shapes as an exciting battle between two strong sides, with Box Hill ready to embrace the challenge and put its best football forward when it matters most.

With everything to play for, the stage is set at Melbourne Avalon Airport Oval as the Hawks begin their push through the 2026 VFL finals series.

Getting There

🚗 Driving: Melbourne Avalon Airport Oval is easily accessible by car, with parking available around the venue. Supporters are encouraged to arrive early due to the increased attendance expected for finals.

🚆 PTV: Catch a V/Line train from Southern Cross Station to Werribee Station, with local bus services available to connect supporters to the ground.
