Round 19 Game Day Info

Back at home for the first time in four weeks, the Box Hill Hawks can take a massive step towards securing finals football this weekend.

With the senior Hawthorn side not in action until Sunday afternoon and a spate of activations planned, there’s no better place to be or way to spend your Saturday than at City Oval.

Where: Box Hill City Oval
When: Saturday – 2:05pm
Who: Sandringham
How To Watch: VFL coverage available via this link
Additional Coverage: game day coverage and behind the scenes access provided, as always, across our official social channels.

Community Day

[Takes a deep breath in] … There’ll be face painting, Auskick on the oval at half-time, a Footy-4-Fun clinic, signing and photo opportunities with AFL and AFLW Hawks (!), giveaways, Hawker and Hawkette will be there and an extra special FIDA exhibition match from 12:40pm!

What a day we have in prospect. We can’t wait.

Entry, Ticketing and Membership

Gates to City Oval will open at 12:30pm, with ticket prices frozen from 2022.

Adult entry is priced at $10, concessions $5 and kids under five are free.

Although late in the season, a membership remains the best way to support the Hawks in 2023. You can secure yours at the game or via this link.

Members receive admission to every Box Hill Hawks home match, half-price admission to away games, 10% off Box Hill and Hawthorn merchandise purchased through our official club stores and access to Hawthorn’s suite of third party member benefits.

Volunteers Needed

As always, we’re accepting expressions of interest for a number of volunteer match day positions – including merchandise, membership and raffle sales.

If you’d like to get a start in sport, gain some valuable experience and exposure or just want to join the Box Hill Hawks family, we’d love to hear from you!

No previous experience is necessary.

If you’d like to know more about these opportunities please get in touch with Emily Ferguson via emilyf@boxhillhawks.com.au

Food and Drink

While patrons are permitted to bring their own food and drink, footy favourites, snacks and beverages are available from the canteen inside the venue, while the pavilion bar will be open once gates are.

How To Watch

Fans unable to make it to City Oval can watch our match via live stream.

This stream is available in the AFL.com.au match centre, as well as the app.

Radio

Our fantastic community radio partner, 3WBC, are back on deck for another year! If you’re unable to get to the venue or can’t be near a TV, be sure to tune your radio to 94.1FM for their call of the action.
