Round 14: Box Hill Hawks Development Side vs Werribee
The Hawks will meet Werribee for the second time this season on Saturday for their Round 13 clash at Victoria Park. The two sides met way back in round 1 with the Hawks getting the 4 points in an impressive 41 point win.
Brandon Wood was dominant on the ball for the Hawks continually pushing the ball forward on his way to 28 disposals. Tasmanian import and Peter McEvoy was also impressive kicking 5 goals and played an integral part in the side’s first win of the season.
Looking to more recent times and the Hawks are coming off an outstanding 95 point win against the Northern Blues and have now won their past 6 games putting them four points clear on top of the ladder. Werribee on the other hand are sitting 5th having gone down by 13 points to Casey on Saturday.
The boys will be looking to continue their stellar form this Saturday at Victoria Park when they take on the Werribee Tigers
