Round 1 Selection
The journey of Sam Mitchell, Senior Coach, has ticked off a significant milestone: his first team selection!
The former Box Hill and Hawthorn champion’s selected side could boast as many as fifteen Club debutants, with an even spread of AFL and VFL listed talent to represent the Brown and Gold in our season opener.
Notable additions include former Saint Ed Phillips, ex-Bulldogs pair Fergus Greene and Cal Porter, and one-time Geelong utility Jordan Cunico.
AFL wise, Mitchell will be able to call on and guide the development of youngsters Connor Downie, Lachy Bramble, Finn Maginness, Josh Morris and one of the star performers of Box Hill’s pre-season, key forward Emerson Jeka.
Final teams will be announced at 11:35am tomorrow, with the first bounce to follow at 12:05pm.
