Box Hill Pride

In 2023 the Box Hill Hawks donned our inaugural Pride guernsey, across both our VFL and VFLW programs. 

The guernsey was designed by both squads of players, allowing for maximum input across the program. 

The numerous design ideas were combined to incorporate many aspects of the contributions for the final design. 

Our Pride guernsey features the traditional brown and gold stripes on the front with a hawk head at the bottom, which has colours from the pride flags in it’s feathers. The back of the guernsey sees the colours of the progress pride flag in place of the usual brown stripes. 

At the Box Hill Hawks Football Club, we believe diversity and inclusion should be at the forefront of what we do to ensure our people feel safe, respected, valued and suuported.
