For the second week in succession Box Hill City Oval is set to play host to a high stakes, high quality VFL-VFLW double header against the visiting Sydney Swans. 

Our three-and-one VFL outfit get proceedings underway at 12:05pm, before our ladder leading VFLW side welcome the star studded Swans for a first-ever meeting at 3:35pm.

Entry

Patrons can enter via the main gate on Whitehorse road or at the rear of the venue off Bolton Street.

Hawthorn and Box Hill members gain free entry, while visiting Sydney members are entitled to half-price entry.

Gates open at 10:30am and tickets are priced at $10 for adults, $5 for valid concessions and under 15s are free.

For those who can only make the VFLW match, entry  to the venue will be free from three quarter time of the VFL match-up. 

ANZAC Commemoration Service

In partnership with the Box Hill RSL, each match will feature an ANZAC Day Commemoration Ceremonies.

These will take place at 11:45am for the VFL match and 3:15pm for the VFLW clash and be conducted by Major Steve Bennett.

Joining him will be Lindsay Burke to deliver The Ode, the 305 Army Cadet Unit as catafalque party, Andrew Gordon on the bugle and Corporal Mark Collins as drummer. 

As is tradition in our ANZAC Round fixtures, the player adjudged best afield will be awarded the Gibbs-Lyons Medal.

Food and Drink

Patrons are permitted to bring their own food and drink into City Oval, but can also enjoy footy favourites, snacks and beverages available from both the canteen and bar.

Those unable to attend the match can watch along from home via the AFL website or AFL app.
