Getting to Box Hill City Oval

By Car

From South Eastern Suburbs: Find your way to Maroondah Highway (this turns into Whitehorse Road).Follow Maroondah Highway until the Middleborough Road intersection.

From Northern Suburbs: Find your way to Greensborough Highway, follow it all the way to the end and turn left at Lower Plenty Road. (Lower Plenty Road becomes Main Road) At Fitzsimons Road turn right at the large round-a-bout. Continue along Fitzsimons Road and turn left at the King Street intersection. Then turn right onto Victoria Street and follow this road all the way until Whitehorse Road.

If coming from the North-West, find your way to the Western Ring Road and turn right at the Greensborough Bypass. Then follow the directions above.

From Southern Suburbs: Find your way to Springvale Road and follow it until Whitehorse Road. Turn left at the intersection and travel along Whitehorse Road until Middleborough Road.

Alternatively take the Monash Freeway, exit at Foster Road and turn right. Continue along until the Waverley Road intersection. Turn left to get onto Waverley Road and then turn right at Stephensons Road. (Stephensons Road becomes Middleborough Road) At the Whitehorse Road intersection, turn left.

From Western Suburbs: Find your way to the City either via the Western Highway or Westgate Freeway. Then take the most direct route to the Eastern Freeway. (The freeway can be accessed via Hoddle Street or Alexander Parade) Take the Middleborough Road exit and turn right. Travel along Middleborough Road until the Whitehorse Road intersection.

From City Suburbs: Find your way to the Eastern Freeway either via Alexandra Parade or Hoddle Street. Take the Middleborough Road exit off the Eastern Freeway and turn right. Travel along Middleborough Road until the Whitehorse Road intersection

By Train

Box Hill City Oval is located just 430 metres North-West from Laburnam Railway Station via the Lilydale or Belgrave Railway Line.

By Tram

Tram route 109 from Port Melbourne/City terminates at Centro Box Hill Shopping Centre. This tram also passes Southern Cross Station via Spencer Street. From Centro Box Hill, take Bus 279 Doncaster from tram terminus. This will take you to the corner of Middleborough and Whitehorse Roads.

Alternatively, Box Hill Railway Station is located in close proximity to Centro Box Hill. Catch the Lilydale bound train to Laburnam station.

Tram route 75 to Vermont South from Spencer Street stops at the Burwood Highway and Middleborough Road intersection. Bus 733 to Box Hill will take you from Middleborough Road to the Bus Station at Centro Box Hill.

From here you can catch Bus Route 279 to Doncaster and get off at the Middleborough Road and Davey Street stop or catch the Lilydale line trainto Laburnam from Box Hill Railway Station.

Bus 286 runs along Maroondah Highway/Whitehorse Road.
Bus 279 runs along Middleborough Road from Doncaster/Templestowe.
Bus 733 runs along Middleborough Road from Oakleigh to Box Hill Central.
