Community Clubs August 5
It was a tough week of footy for some but not for all. With a handful of big wins and some even smashing, alongside a few players kicking 3+ goals for their local clubs made for an impressive weekend of footy.
In Round 14 of the Victorian Amateur Football League, the St Kevins Seniors with Andrew Mathieson defeated Fitzroy Seniors by 73 points, 17.14 (116) to 6.7 (43).
Jed Rule and the Old Carey Grammarians smashed Marcellin Seniors by 130 points, 24.12 (156) to 3.8 (26). Jed kicked 5 goals and received a mention in the best player list.
Andreas Stefanakis and Old Haileybury lost by 26 points to De La Salle Seniors, 10.7 (67) to 14.9 (93). Andreas kicked 5 goals and received a mention in the best player list.
In Round 15 of the Northern Football Netball League, Ben De Bolfo and the Heidelberg Seniors lost by 28 points to Greensborough, 9.10 (64) to 14.8 (92).
In Round 15 of the Ovens & Murray Football Netball League, Toby Cossor and the Myrtleford Seniors had a 38 point win over Corowa Rutherglen Seniors, 17.9 (111) to 12.1 (73). Toby received a mention in the best player list.
In Round 15 of the Eastern Football Netball League, the Blackburn Seniors with Nathan Philactides and Daniel Wood defeated Rowville by 30 points, 11.14 (80) to 6.14 (50). Daniel received a mention in the best player list.
Josh Tovey and the Norwood Seniors faced a 109 point loss against Nobel Park on the weekend, 5.6 (36) to 22.3 (145). Josh received a mention in the best player list.
Lachie Guymer and the East Ringwood Seniors smashed Berwick by 100 points, 20.12 (132) to 5.2 (32).
Jye Peacock and the Mooroolbark Seniors lost by 8 points against Montrose in Round 17, 12.11 (83) to 13.13 (91). Jye received a mention in the best player list.
Jett Latchford and the Ringwood Seniors had a 63 point win over The Basin Seniors, 18.17 (125) to 8.14 (62). Jett received a mention in the best player list.
In Round 16 of the Mornington Peninsula Football Netball League, Heath Bidgood and the Frankston YWC Seniors had a DRAW against Dromana Seniors, 10.3 (63) each.
In Round 16 of the Gippsland Football League, Zachary Felsbourg and the Maffra Seniors were defeated by 25 points to Moe, 11.5 (71) to 13.18 (96). Zach received a mention in the best player list.
