Community Clubs 18 June

A tough weekend of losses for our Hawks in their local colours. Always great to see so many of our players representing their community clubs, but hopefully this weekend we get a few more exciting results and some more goal action.

VFL: In Round 9 of the Eastern Football Netball League, Billy Hicks, Nathan Philactides and the Blackburn Seniors had a 9 point loss against the Balwyn Seniors on Saturday, 9.14 (68) to 11.11 (77). Billy received a spot on the best player list.

Josh Tovey and the Norwood Seniors were unable to secure the win after losing by 18 points to Berwick Seniors, 6.10 (46) to 9.10 (64). Josh kicked 1 goal.

Lachie Guymer and the East Ringwood Seniors had a great win over Vermont Seniors after defeating them by 36 points, 14.12 (96) to 9.6 (60).

In Round 10, Jye Peacock and the Mooroolbark Seniors suffered a massive 101 point loss against Park Orchards, 1.6 (12) to 16.17 (113). Jye kicked 1 goal and received a spot on the best player list.

Jett Latchford and the Ringwood Seniors had a tough loss against Templestowe Seniors, after losing by 37 points on the weekend, 7.7 (49) to 13.8 (86).

In Round 11 of the Coates Talent League, Remy Maclean and the Eastern Ranges were defeated by 11 points by the Calder Cannons, 11.11 (77) to 12.16 (88). Remy kicked 1 goal.

In Round 10 of the Mornington Peninsula Football Netball League, Heath Bidgood and the Frankston YWC had a 29 point loss against the Mt Eliza Seniors, 7.6 (48) to 11.11 (77).

Seth Harris and the Frankston Bombers were unable to walk away with a win, as they were defeated by 59 point loss against the Langwarrin Seniors, 4.12 (36) to 14.11 (95).

In Round 9 of the Northern Football Netball League, Kye Agosta and the Hurstbridge Seniors were defeated by 100 points by Heidelberg, 25.14 (164) to 9.10 (64). Kye had an incredible game with 3 goals kicked and a spot on the best player list.

In Round 9 of the Victorian Amateur Football Association, Andreas Stefanakis and the Old Haileybury Seniors had a smashing win over the Old Camberwell Seniors, after defeating them by 76 points, 21.11 (137) to 9.7 (61). Andreas had a sensational game after kicking 8 goals and receiving a spot on the best player list.

In Round 10 of the Gippsland League, Zach Felsbourg and the Maffra Seniors lost by 62 points against Leongatha, 6.7 (43) to 16.9 (105).

In Round 10 of the West Gippsland Football Netball League, Daniel Bourke and the Phillip Island Seniors had a 5 point victory over the Tooradin-Dalmore Seniors, 11.11 (77) to 11.6 (72).

VFLW: In Round 9 of the Victorian Amateur Football Association, Taylah Canobie and the St Kevins Seniors had a 14 point win over the Old Scotch Seniors with Bella Gray, 4.7 (31) to 2.5 (17). Bella Gray received a spot on the best player list.

The Collegians with Tayissa Gray were defeated by 28 points against the Kew Senior, 2.11 (23) to 8.3 (51).

The Old Yarra Cobras with Amber Sciacca faced a 40 point loss against the Coburg Seniors, 5.2 (32) to 10.12 (72).

In Round 8 of the Eastern Football Netball League, Torey Burns and the South Croydon Seniors had a smashing win over the Basin Senior, defeating them by 20 points, 12.11 (83) to 3.2 (20).

In Round 10 of the Mornington Peninsula Football Netball League, Chloe Bailey, Alisha Molesworth and the Warragul Industrials came away with a 16 point victory over Frankston FC, 5.9 (39) to 3.5 (23).

In Round 9 of the Outer East Football Netball League, the Olinda Ferny Creek with Lily Carlin defeated Belgrave Seniors by 24 points, 6.1 (37) to 1.7 (13). Lily received a spot in the best player list.

The Healesville Seniors with Paula Pavic were unable to secure the win against Pakenham, as they were defeated by 42 points, 2.0 (12) to 7.12 (54). Paula kicked 1 goal.

Sky Wilson and the Woori Yallock Seniors faced a DRAW against the Warburton-Wesburn Seniors, 2.3 (15) to 2.3 (15).

In Round 8 of the Coates Talent League, Mia Zielinski and the Sandringham Dragons had a tough loss against the Eastern Ranges after losing by 90 points, 1.2 (8) to 14.14. (98). Mia kicked 1 goal and received a spot in the best player list.
