Community Club Wrap Up
As the senior side saw the majority of Box Hill boys donning the brown and gold, a handful of hawks pulled on their local club jumpers seeing players competing against each other, big wins and rewarded efforts.
EFL Premier Division headed into their third round which saw Mackenzie Doriean’s Blackburn getting the chocolates over Miheale Zalac’s Doncaster.
Elsewhere Adrian Kalcovski’s Vermont faced Chayce Black’s Rowville. ‘AK’ snagged a goal to help the eagles to a 71 point defeat over the Hawks seeing Black named in the best for his hard work.
In the next league down, EFL’s Division One saw Cayden Maki’s Mooroolbark continued their winning streak; where as Beau Tennant’s Montrose went down to Watirna South.
Over in the VAFA, saw victories for both Riley Bowman’s St Kevins and Josh Le Grice bagging a goal for Old Brighton in the close match with Collegians.
Sadly up north in the Goldburn Valley League, Shepparton United went down to Echuca but saw Jesse Cucinotta efforts in the best.
