Box Hill’s list update

Box Hill’s VFL list has been extremely bolstered ahead of the 2020 season, welcoming a total of 20 new recruits.

Brett Deledio and Andy Otten are the obvious big-name inclusions, who both signed on with the Hawks at the end of last year with player-coaching roles.

Josh Deluca is another strong signing, having experienced AFL football both at Fremantle and Carlton. The 23-year-old is a versatile midfielder who is a welcome addition to the Hawks in 2020.

Alongside these ex-AFL recruits, the side has also welcomed a group of talented Eastern Ranges players led by James Ross who captained the Ranges to the 2019 TAC Cup grand final, along with James Blanck, Chayce Black, Mihaele Zalac, Todd Garner and Billy McCormack.

Box Hill’s list will be finalised in the coming weeks, with the VFL season kicking off on Friday 3 April when the Hawks take on Collingwood at Olympic Park at 6:00pm.
