Round Nine Selection
Box Hill Hawks entertain the 13th placed Werribee this Saturday, with both outfits keen to reverse losing form.
The Hawks suffered just their second loss of the season last start against North Melbourne, whilst their opponents sit one-and-six on the season, their last victory in round three.
For the Hawks the contest is the perfect opportunity to atone for a poor showing at Werribee’s Avalon Airport Oval and a run of three weeks that has seen them go one-and-two and slip to fifth on the competition ladder.
A win could see them jump into the top two and hit the bye in the right vein of form.
The potential additions of Mirra and Glass could shore up defence, whilst Adduci, Kilpatrick and Lewis promise greater potency around goal.
James Cousins, already twice named best afield for Box Hill in 2018, is also in the mix to feature alongside Box Hill listed Nelson Lane, who has overcome pre-season surgery to have his name amongst the magnets this weekend.
Ins: D. Mirra, C. Glass, M. Lewis, N. Lane, J. Cousins, B. Kilpatrick, V. Adduci
Outs: T. O’Brien, D. Howe, R. Schoenmakers
