VFLW coaches votes, R1: Boyd ranked best
Three Hawks polled votes in the VFLW Coaches MVP Award following Box Hill’s Round 1 draw with Essendon on Sunday.
Forward Maddie Boyd topped the votes with nine, kicking three goals to go with her 17 disposals and eight marks.
Jordan Mifsud was ranked second-best afield after accumulating an equal game-high 23 possessions to complement her 10 tackles and six marks.
Captain Nicole Garner rounded out the votes for her 23-disposal, six-mark performance.
