“This is an important partnership on and off the field and one we’re really looking forward to building on throughout this season and many more to come.”

Per the agreement, Burwood HealthCare will be the presenting partner of the Hawks’ Injury Report, which will launch on the Club’s social media channels from round one onwards.

“The Burwood Healthcare Injury Update will be a new weekly addition to our media channels, so stay tuned for that.

“Both our organisations share a passion for community health and wellbeing, the Hawks through football and us through injury prevention and treatment.

“Australian football is one of the most popular sports in Australia, with thousands participating on and off-field each and every year at every level from grass roots community right through to state and national competition.

During the footy season, we are the go to in Melbourne’s East for injuries resulting from tackling, kicking, running, handballing, marking and constant physical competition for the ball.

“We’re committed to to supporting players of all ages and sporting disciplines who experience an injury on the field, and each and every weekend we treat anything ranging from concussion to fractures, strains and sprains, wounds that require suturing, eye trauma and shoulder dislocations.”

As such, the alignment sees Box Hill and Burwood HealthCare as a perfect pairing.

“This allows us to increase awareness of our brand and services amongst players, supporters and the wider community.

“We would like parents of young players and more experienced sportspeople alike to think of us should they require treatment for any and all sports injuries; ‘If I am injured on the weekend and need a doctor, I know I can depend on Burwood HealthCare.’”
