Box Hill will take part in its first Foxtel Cup since the tournaments inception in 2011

The Hawks will take on WAFL counterparts West Perth on Tuesday night, both teams coming off premierships in 2013.

The tournament is an invitational competition whereby the premiers and runners-up may accept a place in the cup.

With nine teams vying for the trophy, the knockout stage begins from game one, with West Adelaide and Belconnen already shown the door.

West Perth will see their first cup game since being knocked out of the 2012 competition by Werribee in the quarter finals.

The cup comes with a $100,000 prize for the winning club. Tickets are available for free at the door. Every game will also be shown live on FOX FOOTY with the Box Hill Hawks game starting at 8:35pm next Tuesday.
