Tony Pinwill has a long association with Football in Melbourne’s eastern suburbs, having played over 400 games in the Eastern Football League and serving as President of the Donvale Football Club and as a Director of the Eastern Football League. Between 1998 and 2002 he was a Director of the Box Hill Football Club and later the Box Hill Hawks Football Club; serving as the inaugural President of the Box Hill Hawks from 2000 to 2002 and guiding the Club to the 2001 VFL Premiership. From 2006 to 2009 he was a Director of AFL Victoria.
Tony was reappointed to the Box Hill Hawks’ Board of Directors in January 2010 and commenced his second term as President of the Club when elected unopposed at the 2010 Annual General Meeting in February 2011. Tony is Regional Director – Southern Region – of Veolia Environmental Services.
